During week commencing 12th February 2024, Finches Lane will be closed to undertake work to improve the informal crossing point adjacent to the path from School Road.
The drawings below show the details of work to be carried out on Finches Lane to improve the informal crossing point.
PROPOSED PEDESTRIAN CROSSING POINT – FINCHS LANE
All work will be undertaken between 08.00 hours and 16:00 hours, to minimise disruption. No works are expected to take place over the weekend.
However, for the safety of contractors and the public, it will be necessary to close the road for 24hrs a day throughout the duration of these works.
It is anticipated that the works will take one week to complete. During this time, access to properties and businesses will be maintained.
