The Hunter Park Tennis Association was formed in 1991 with the building of two courts in the park. All funds were raised by villagers of Twyford in addition to some grant aid. The two courts are set in a beautiful quiet and unspoilt parkland in the heart of the village. The club is primarily open to residents / workers in Twyford and surrounding villages, but we also welcome anyone who is prepared to contribute to the club.

Twyford Bowls Club (Hampshire) is situated in the historic village of Twyford. We welcome players of all experience, ages and gender. The club has regular friendly fixtures throughout the summer both at weekends and week-day afternoons. We are small friendly club situated in the historic village of Twyford, about 3 miles south of Winchester. The club has been going since 1901 when a group of local residents bought the last 2 building plots in Roman Road, Twyford for approximately £200! The Bowls Club is part of the Twyford Bowls and Tennis Club as the ground contains not only a bowling green but also 2 tennis courts.

Twyford Cricket Club
In 2017, Twyford celebrated 125 years as a cricket club, and the Seniors won their second successive league title! There was also a speical 125th Anniversary match at the home of Twyford cricket, Hunter Park!
Cricket at Hunter Park
The beautiful grounds of Hunter Park are home to Twyford Cricket Club, just 2 miles from Winchester. Seniors matches are on Saturday afternoons, starting at 2pm and your support is always welcome! There is tea/coffee/squash in the pavilion for you to help yourself and there isn’t a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon with the family. The Club also has a thriving Colts section. The Colts train on Friday nights during the cricket season and matches are played on Sunday mornings for U9s, U11s and U13s. There is a barbecue open to all after each training session.
