New Housing Development on Hazeley Road
Public Consultation “Drop In” Session
Wednesday 26th July 2023 – 4.00pm until 7.00pm at Twyford Parish Hall
The Parish Council has arranged a drop in event at which developer Alfred Homes will have on display plans they have submitted to South Downs National Park Authority for the construction of twenty houses, of which ten will be affordable, to be built on the field next to the surgery.
The plans are supported by the Parish Council and are closely based on the draft layout in the Neighbourhood Plan that was voted at a referendum and adopted by the parish in 2022.
Included with the housing will be an open space for children to play and an area for a public car park with up to forty spaces to be developed by the Parish Council.

July 2023 meeting of the Planning Committee

Items on the agenda include considering making representations on the proposals for a 20 house development off Hazeley Road, proposals by the golf club for enhancements to their driving range and the creation of a water storage pond and works to the extend and resurface the car park at Twyford School.

Agenda items include considering making a representation on the proposals by Humphrey Farms Ltd and also whether to participate in the consultation by the SDNPA on their Local List for Validation.
The meeting will take place in the Pavilion at Hunter Park starting at 7.30pm
